Season six of King of Queens to begin in Febuary on Sony Entertainment

Meat-and-potatoes comedy for the everyman. Viewers rejoin Doug and Carrie Heffernan (Kevin James and Leah Remini), an average working-class couple living in Queens, New York. Living with them is Carrie?s inimitable father, Arthur (Jerry Stiller).

Doug is an average guy who likes watching sports, playing poker and drinking beer ? but in season six, he?s shed some kilos and takes Carrie to a familiar romantic getaway to celebrate. Only problem is, it wasn?t Carrie whom he took there the last time around ?

Plus, Carrie loses her job and takes up dog walking to earn extra money, and she and Doug scam Arthur out of his bingo winnings. In between all the witty one-liners and hilarious missteps, look out for guest appearances by actors such as Judge Reinhold, Janeane Garofalo and Jon Favreau.

The sixth season of King of Queens begins on Thursday, 7 February at 18:10 on Sony Entertainment Television, channel 127 on DStv. From then on, will be shown weekdays at 18:10.
