Guest Bio:? Dan Brodsky-Chenfeld made his first skydive in 1980 when he was a freshman at Ohio State University.. I can tell right away what level of experience a person has based simply on their understanding of realistic conversion numbers.</p> <p><span><strong>Conversions</strong></span></p> <p>This represent the number of people that took an action, out of the collective possible number of actions. ?They are expressed as a percentage, and determined by dividing two components. ?They are also measured over some period of time.</p> <p>There are also many points of conversion depending on your desired action or the point in the process. ?It could be opt-in, one time offer, main sales letter, survey form, etc.</p> <p>For now let?s look at how to find opt-in conversion percentage.</p> <p>This is simply the total number of ?people?that opt into your list?divided by the total number of unique visitors.</p> <p>For example, if you had <strong><span>20 signups</span></strong>?in one day, and <strong><span>70 unique visitors</span></strong>?over that same time period you would have <strong>29%</strong> opt in conversions, or 20/70 = 0.285.</p> <p><strong><em>Got it?</em></strong></p> <p>While I?ve seen as high as 80% signup rates, it?s much more common to get generic traffic to convert at 20-40% opt-in.</p> <p>In other words, you can expect to lose well over half your paid traffic to a signup form. ?These are so important to improve as it can generate exponential sales from small improvements.</p> <p>Next and probably the most important number to consider is the sales conversions.</p> <p>Sadly, with poor traffic or bad sales offers as little as 1% of traffic may convert to sales. ?If you have particularly bad sales conversion, adding an opt-in in front of the offer might be enough to kill nearly all possible sales!</p> <p><span><strong>Note:</strong></span></p> <p>With each step in a conversion process or system (like we reviewed in part 3) you are starting with less and less visitors.</p> <p>It?s important to keep your best converting offers as close the maximum volume of traffic as possible.</p> <p>As a refresher, recall that a higher priced back end offer down the line if converting well enough can still out-earn a low priced front end offer. ?This is why it?s so important to keep track of conversions at each step of the process.</p> <p>Simply re-arranging your offers or removing an opt-in step may significantly improve conversions and total sales.</p> <p><strong>How do we do keep track of tracking?</strong></p> <p>First of all, many auto-responder accounts have built in conversion tracking. ?Check your personal responder to verify and get you opt-in numbers.</p> <p><strong/>Next, one of the simplest ways to track your tracking?. is to use a redirect link from your traffic source.</p> <p>There are countless link shorteners and redirect services that will track the amount of clicks to a link, such as Budurl. ?I?ll leave it to you to do a search for your favorite.</p> <p>ALWAYS use one of these when sending paid traffic.</p> <p>Next, take a backup step and install a page tracking analytic services such as Google Analytics or Get Clicky.</p> <p>With these two utilities you can determine relatively accurately how many unique visitors came through to that page or clicked that link in any given period of time.</p> <p><strong>Sales of course are even easier to track, and much more fun?</strong></p> <p>Simply login to your merchant or affiliate account and pull up the sales data!</p> <p>Once you have your sales data, simply measure up against your click data over the same time period. ?Do the math and compare your cost vs conversion.</p> <p>For example, if you got 1,000 visitors that converted at 10% and you earned $25 per sale, you?d have $250o.</p> <p>That represent $2.5 per visitor. ?$2,500 / 1,000</p> <p>If that same traffic only cost $1.5 per visitor to get, congrats you?re in profit! (Keller, Bucholz, Brady, 2007).</p> <p>Indeed, this was one of the biggest issues during my student teaching experience that I decided would not be an issue when I actually started teaching. Ironically, I understand it too well because I started out as an educational assistant and, at times, was a substitute in the special education classroom. Trust me when I say that, given what I now know about students with disabilities, I was worse than clueless then. </p> <p>But with rare exception, instructional aides, paraprofessionals, or educational assistants -- whatever we want to call them -- are typically not placed in a specific place because they have had specific training. That is, people are placed in rooms by rank or seniority, often with little training, and sometimes against their desires, but given certain rules, what choice do they have?</p> <p>I know how much training I have had to be a licensed moderate/intensive intervention specialist in an educational setting and sometimes I believe it is unfair (to adults and children) that some paraprofessionals are in the same room simply because the union permitted them to bump someone else.</p> <p>That said, what I would like to share in my next three posts are a few things that I have come to believe about the paraprofessional who works in the EBD classroom. This may not be your experience and you may believe differently; nevertheless, I encourage some dialogue because the relationship we as educators have with our paraprofessionals is just as important as the work we do with our students every day.</p> <p>Where there is disharmony and tension between adults, there is anxiety and frustration among the children. This is important to remember because students know when there is tension between adults. I have three sons and they always knew when there was tension between mom and dad. Kids are intuitive like that.</p> <p>Let me just say, without equivocation, that I have the best paraprofessional in the world. What I say here is based on what her example has been and the way she has worked <em>with</em> me in the EBD classroom to create an environment for our students that is conducive to learning and the sort of behavioral interventions necessary to help our students. I would be lost without her efforts, her work ethic, and her friendship. If I have had any success in the classroom with my students, she deserves an equal share of the praise.</p> <p>First, my paraprofessional taught me that in order for the program to be successful, the paraprofessional has to buy into it. In other words, the paraprofessional has to be flexible and teachable and able to reinforce what the teacher does?not work in counterproductive, contradictory or counterintuitive ways.</p> <p>We absolutely never contradict one another in front of a student. She believes in what we are doing for our students. I, as a matter of my own professional ethic and personal standard, treat my paraprofessionals with respect and dignity. But how successful would our students be if, in fact, we were reinforcing contradictory ideas in them? Thus, I make the effort to teach the paraprofessionals what needs to be done. Good paraprofessionals buy into it.</p> <p>Second, we have a secret code that we use when I am -- what?s the right way to say this -- not being helpful? Yes, that?s it. I do not approach teaching with the mistaken idea that I am always right or that I never push too hard. So, there are times when the paraprofessional will signal me that I am not being helpful with a student who is having a tough time; that I need to dial it down or take a different approach.</p> <p>It is easy to forget sometimes that I am the adult; she helps me remember. I gave her leave to do so and I expect her to be honest. I view us as equals in the classroom, working together for the students so that they receive the best possible free and appropriate education. Sure, I bear a significant responsibility and the ultimate blame for failure, but we are a team. I trust my paraprofessionals and I trust their judgment because they understand my expectations.</p> <p>Third, paraprofessionals, good ones, are open to direction and do not take said direction personally. In my student teaching experience, one of my mentors did not get along well with one of the paraprofessionals in the room (she continually worked against the teacher, which was not helpful). So anytime there was correction, it was always taken personally. It was a very awkward situation and made me terribly uncomfortable especially because it was evident that the paraprofessional did not want to be in the room in the first place. This was not helpful from either point of view. On the other hand, good teachers know how to speak professionally to another adult without making it personal or making the adult feel as though they have to walk around on eggshells all the time, afraid to make a mistake or ask questions.</p> <p>This is just the first of three posts on paraprofessionals. In the meantime, reflect upon your own relationship with the adults in your classroom. Have you encouraged them to be everything they can be? Have you set them up for success or failure? Have you communicated clearly what you expect of them every day? Are they props? Are they copy machine jockeys? Or are they valued members of your team who are treated as professionals, are expected to work, and understand the importance of the work you are doing?</p> <p>I read that ?[T]eachers and paraeducators work to promote the academic and socioemotional well-being of all students and this work requires a well-organized classroom, including a plan for all adults.? (Carnahan, Williamson, Clarke, Sorenson, 2009). This is true. So, then, what is your plan for the adults under your charge? If you do not have a plan, I will bet they make their own. As Barack Obama and Mitt Romney prepare to square off in a series of presidential debates, the candidates and their running mates could go medieval on their opponents by using a rhetorical technique that dates back to Nordic and Germanic legends of the Middle Ages, says a scholar of medieval literature at Missouri University of Science and Technology.</p> <p>According to Dr. Eric S. Bryan, an assistant professor of English and technical communication at Missouri S&T, the candidate who does the best job using "indirect aggression" techniques in a debate could be perceived as the winner of that debate.</p> <p>Indirect aggression -- speech that requires interpretation, such as sarcasm or veiled threats -- is a rhetorical device that dates back to the Middle Ages, if not earlier, says Bryan. In a paper to be published in <em>Neophilologus</em>, an international journal of modern and medieval language and literature, he examines how two characters from a medieval legend that formed the basis for Richard Wagner's opera "Der Ring des Nibelungen" ("The Ring of the Nibelung") used indirect aggression to gain the upper hand in their argument.</p> <p>The same rhetorical approaches are still in use today, he says, although "modern culture seems to have lost its talent for it."</p> <p>In his article, Bryan discusses how two fictional queens used indirect aggression in the Nibelungen legend, which dates back to the 13th century. He notes that indirect aggressive speech is typically associated with the queen who holds the upper hand in an argument.</p> <p>In similar fashion, candidates in political debates who deliver the best indirect one-liner can be perceived as the winner of the contest, he says.</p> <p><strong>'...no Jack Kennedy'</strong></p> <p>One famous example of this occurred during a 1988 vice presidential debate between Texas Sen. Lloyd Bentsen and Indiana Sen. Dan Quayle. After Quayle defended his inexperience as similar to that of John F. Kennedy, Bentsen replied: "Senator, I served with Jack Kennedy. I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you are no Jack Kennedy."</p> <p>That slight is an example of indirect aggression, Bryan says, because it requires interpretation on the part of the opponent.</p> <p>"It raises the question, 'If I'm no Jack Kennedy, then what am I? I must be something less than Jack Kennedy,'" Bryan says.</p> <p>In his article, Bryan examines an argument that takes place between two queens involved in a struggle to achieve status.</p> <p>Bryan analyzes "the verbal conflict in the so-called 'Quarrel of the Queens' episode" from three different texts of the Nibelung legends. One version is German, one Norwegian and the third Icelandic. The two queens, called Prunhilt and Kriemhilt in one version but similarly named in the other two, "argue fiercely about who has the stronger, braver husband" and "give as good as they get in the argument," Bryan writes in his paper, "Indirect Aggression: A Pragmatic Analysis of the Quarrel of the Queens in <em>Volsungasaga</em>, <em>Pioreks Saga</em> and <em>Das Nibelungenlied</em>."</p> <p>Although each of the three text sources takes a different approach to the two queens' argument, "each relies heavily upon a strategy of verbal conflict that vacillates between indirectness in speech ... and directness of speech." The indirect approaches employ sarcasm and veiled threats that require interpretation, while the direct approaches can be taken at face value.</p> <p>"The arguer perceived (or who perceives herself) as holding the stronger position in the argument tends to maintain a veil of indirectness, while the arguer in the losing position may either attempt to gain the upper hand by intensifying indirectness or, conceding the weaker position, attempt to salvage her status by resorting to directness in speech."</p> <p>In other words, Bryan says, "Indirectness reflects a position of strength, whereas directness reflects the weaker rhetorical and social status."</p> <p><strong>24/7 news media</strong></p> <p>Could the same approach to rhetoric hold true among political candidates? Could the candidate who takes pride in being the "straight talker," as GOP nominee John McCain did in 2008, actually be at a disadvantage to one who is less direct?</p> <p>Bryan believes that is possible. But in modern political campaigns, one factor comes in to play that didn't exist in the Middle Ages: the 24/7 news media.</p> <p>"Modern politicians have a huge problem," Bryan says. "They have to understand all of the policy issues, and then they have to translate all of that into something that all Americans understand, regardless of education or status. So there's this translation that happens through the news media and on the campaign trail that has to appeal to a wide audience."</p> <p>This has become an issue recently for Mitt Romney after a tape from a campaign fundraising dinner held last spring became public. In that tape, Romney discusses issues in terms he had not used in public venues, such as campaign speeches or media interviews.</p> <p>"He wasn't speaking to that mass audience," Bryan says. "He was speaking to ultra-rich donors. It was still a gaffe, but in that room, with that audience, it was not."</p> <p>In a media-saturated world, political debates may be one of the few opportunities political candidates have to come across as relatively unfiltered. For those skilled in rhetoric, this can be an advantage.</p> <p>"Most of the time in political discourse, the politicians aren't talking directly to each other," Bryan says. "They're talking around each other and talking to the audience."</p> <p>The rise of print -- and the transition of communication from oral to written -- has lessened the impact of rhetorical techniques such as indirect aggression over the centuries, Bryan says. As a result, people have become less skilled at it.</p> <p>"The interesting thing to me is that, while we do use the same tactics of argumentation today, modern culture seems to have lost its talent for it," says Bryan. "These medieval texts actually show far greater nuance and sophistication in their strategies of indirect aggression than anything employed today."</p> <p><strong>The lessons of going medieval</strong></p> <p>He sees lessons to be learned from studying the rhetoric of the Quarrel of the Queens and similar vignettes from medieval legends.</p> <p>"We can really learn something by looking at a time like this when aggression was a political and economic instrument," Bryan says. Drinking a <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1348514726_3">Bordeaux wine</span> from a "chateau" is as French as swigging Kentucky bourbon is American.</p><p>But now tempers are flaring across the vineyards of <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1348514727_1">France</span>. The <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1348514726_0">United States</span> wants to sell some of its wines in <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1348514726_4">the European Union</span> with ? sacrilege ? a "chateau" or "clos" label.</p><p>Is that cheating? Misappropriation? Whatever it is, the issue has the Bordelais turning claret with anger.</p><p>"What is at stake is the respect for tradition and quality," <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1348514726_2">Laurent Gapenne</span> of Chateau de Laville and president of the Federation des Grand Vins de Bordeaux told The Associated Press.</p><p>For American vintners, it's a question of selling more wine in their top export market, unshackled by historic language or restrictive terms in the world of 21st century globalization.</p><p>"People use words in different ways," WineAmerica chief operation officer Cary Greene told the AP, arguing there should be no ban on <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1348514726_6">U.S.</span> bottles carrying the word "chateau."</p><p>But <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1348514726_5">the French</span> argue that hundreds of years of craft are at stake. They're worried that the cachet a mention of "chateau" or "clos" ? which shows the origin of the wine ? carries is diluted if other winemakers started to stick it on their bottles in Europe.</p><p>On Tuesday, EU experts from the different member states were supposed to vote on the issue, but that was postponed following talks Monday between the EU and French Farm Minister Stephane Le Foll .</p><p>"I asked my services to clarify all of these matters," EU Agriculture Commissioner Dacian Ciolos said late Monday, effectively ruling out an immediate decision.</p><p>It's the latest skirmish in a trans-Atlantic wine war that has seen the United States grow from an upstart to an increasingly confident competitor on world markets.</p><p>U.S. founding father Thomas Jefferson was enamored with <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1348514726_1">French wines</span> and the French held dominance over world wine traffic until well after World War II. Then came the 1976 "Judgment of Paris," when, to French astonishment, California won a major blind taste test over French wines.</p><p>To this day, that event is considered the "tasting that changed the wine world." That never sat well with the French, and since then wine relations have often had an edge.</p><p>So when the European Commission decided to act on a U.S. request to regain permission to export 'chateau' and 'clos'-labeled wines to Europe ? including France ? the anger was palpable.</p><p>"The European Commission is bartering our heritage and our economic clout at the expense of globalization," said Gapenne. "I cannot understand that they would yield on this."</p><p>For the U.S., the benefits of tapping the European market are clear. Even though it is declining, the 27-nation European Union still accounts for 57 percent of the global wine consumption.</p><p>Last year, 34 percent of U.S. wine exports by value went to the EU, accounting for $478 million. And the industry is counting on removing trade barriers worldwide to push exports even more.</p><p>In comparison, the EU said its exports to the United States stood at ?2.2 billion ($2.86 billion) last year, boosted by many of the top-edge chateau and clos vintages that have come to define the continent's best wines. The global turnover of France's Bordeaux wines stood at ?4.2 billion and 55,000 jobs while the Burgundy region added ?1 billion and 20,000 jobs last year.</p><p>While the Americans feel they are unfairly locked out of a market, the French feel that centuries of careful cultivation is being thrown up for grabs.</p><p>"There would not be a level playing field," Gapenne said.</p><p>While French chateau bottles find their origins in wines made at the estate from grapes belonging to the chateau, the U.S. definition for export would use less stringent conditions on provenance. It could include grapes from "vines that have been traditionally used by this wine producer or producer group."</p><p>"We think the definition we presented is fair and reasonable," said Greene of the U.S. "The definitions we put forward, we believe accurately reflect what we think the market place can stand and what consumers can understand."</p><p>For the French, the very francophone origins of the "chateau" name argue differently.</p><p>"The Americans could create 'chateau' wines from grapes from all over and prices would of course be much lower," Gapenne said. "The consumer would be buying a 'chateau' wine with the idea of quality that represents our definition" while in fact it doesn't, he argued.</p><p>Several dozen premium wineries in the United States have already used the 'chateau' and 'clos' designation in the past. They were allowed to export wines bearing such labels for three years in the wake of a 2006 trans-Atlantic wine agreement, but that loophole was closed in 2009.</p><p>Names and denominations of origins have often created trade friction, affecting everything from Greek feta cheese to Lebanese hummus. In the 2006 agreement, for example, the EU said it was able to contain the use of such terms like Champagne and Port in the United States.</p><p>Any dilution of the typical French winery terms would undermine their standing in the world, said Gapenne.</p><p>And once the United States breaks the French hold on the term in Europe, it would set a precedent.</p><p>"It would become extremely difficult to stop other producing countries" from using the term, Gapenne's FGVB said in a statement. Other than minor demonstrations outside the consulate in Shanghai, there were no reports of protests elsewhere in China.</p><p> The row centres on islands in the East China Sea known as Senkaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China.</p><p> They are controlled by Tokyo but claimed by Beijing and Taipei, and tensions peaked after the Japanese government bought three of them from their private owners.</p><p> Several days of protests, some of them violent, raised international concerns and fears of conflict between two of the world's top three economies, with Japanese firms shutting or scaling back production in China.</p><p> But in a statement posted online the Japanese embassy said Beijing police had sent out text messages in effect telling citizens to "not carry out demonstrations at the embassy and also to cooperate with relevant authorities to maintain good traffic and social order".</p><p> The Beijing police bureau did not comment when contacted by AFP.</p><p> Police forces across the country posted on their Weibo pages that anyone who committed criminal damage during protests would be arrested, but did not specifically say that demonstrations were banned.</p><p> Reports said work at Japanese-owned plants and shops was returning to normal, although some were due to remain closed.</p><p> Nonetheless China's vice-president Xi Jinping described Japan's purchase of the islands as a farce in a meeting with visiting US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, state media said.</p><p> He urged Japan to "rein in its behaviour and stop any words and acts that undermine China's sovereignty and territorial integrity", Xinhua reported.</p><p> UN leader Ban Ki-moon called for leaders to use next week's annual UN summit in New York to try to calm the dispute.</p><p> "Looking at what is happening in the relationship between China and Japan over this territorial issue, I am increasingly troubled by rising tensions in the region," he said in his first comment on the issue.</p><p> A foreign ministry spokesman in Beijing blamed the protests on Tokyo's actions, but called for calm among people expressing their "strong and just call" to resist Japanese "infringement" of Chinese sovereignty.</p><p> "We maintain that the public express their appeals in a sensible and orderly manner, within the limits of law," Hong Lei said.</p><p> China's commerce ministry spokesman Shen Danyang told reporters at a regular briefing: "Chinese laws protect the legal rights and interests of foreign-invested companies.</p><p> "Foreign companies, if attacked by illegal actions, should report this to the relevant authorities."</p><p> But he warned that the row would "definitely affect the normal development of China-Japan trade and economic relations", without going into specifics.</p><p> Around the islands themselves, Chinese state television reported that more than 20 fishing boats from Zhejiang province were within 60 nautical miles (111 kilometres) of the islands, with the closest 68 kilometres away. They were escorted by two fisheries patrol vessels, it added.</p><p> The Japan Coast Guard said it was monitoring 14 Chinese ships -- 10 marine surveillance ships and four fisheries patrol boats -- nearby, with the Asahi Shimbun newspaper reporting Tokyo had deployed around 50 vessels.</p><p> US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, who had earlier warned of the risk of conflict over the islands, said during a visit to Beijing he was "confident" that both sides were "concerned with finding ways to resolve these issues".</p><p> "We cannot live in the past. U.S. Embassy advertisements condemning an anti-Islam video appeared on Pakistani television on Thursday in an attempt to undercut anger against the United States, where the film was produced. Hundreds of youths, however, clashed with security officials as they tried in vain to reach the embassy in Islamabad amid outrage in many countries over the film's vulgar depiction of the Prophet Muhammad.</p><p class="ap_para ap_para-d57851005a80479aaeeb90a12c70b9f6 entry-content">The ads reflected efforts by the U.S. government to distance itself from the video in a country where anti-American sentiment already runs high. Violence linked to the movie has left at least 30 people in seven countries dead, including the American ambassador to Libya. Two people have died in protests in Pakistan.</p><p class="ap_para ap_para-d57851005a80479aaeeb90a12c70b9f6 entry-content">In recent days, the decision by a French satirical magazine to release cartoons crudely depicting the prophet has added to the tension, as may the upcoming issue of the German satirical magazine Titanic. The magazine's co-editor Martin Sonneborn said it was up to readers to decide whether the cover of an Arab wielding a sword actually depicts the Prophet Muhammad.</p><p class="ap_para ap_para-d57851005a80479aaeeb90a12c70b9f6 entry-content">Most outrage appears linked to the amateurish movie, which portrays the prophet as a fraud, womanizer and child molester.</p><p class="ap_para ap_para-d57851005a80479aaeeb90a12c70b9f6 entry-content">The television ads in Pakistan feature clips of President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton during press appearances in Washington in which they condemned the video. Their words were subtitled in Urdu.</p><p class="ap_para ap_para-d57851005a80479aaeeb90a12c70b9f6 entry-content">"We absolutely reject its content and message," said Clinton in the advertisement.</p><p class="ap_para ap_para-d57851005a80479aaeeb90a12c70b9f6 entry-content">The advertisements end with the seal of the American Embassy in Islamabad, the Pakistani capital.</p><p class="ap_para ap_para-d57851005a80479aaeeb90a12c70b9f6 entry-content">State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said the ad was produced by the embassy, which spent $70,000 to air the 30-second spot on seven Pakistani television stations. Pakistan is the only country where the ads are running. The embassy wanted to run the ads because it determined that the messages of Obama and Clinton were not reaching enough of the Pakistani public through regular news reporting, Nuland said.</p><p class="ap_para ap_para-d57851005a80479aaeeb90a12c70b9f6 entry-content">"As you know, after the (anti-Islam) video came out, there was concern in lots of bodies politic, including Pakistan, as to whether this represented the views of the U.S. government. So, in order to be sure that we reached the largest number of Pakistanis, some 90 million as I understand it in this case with these spots, it was the judgment that this was the best way to do it," Nuland said.</p><p class="ap_para ap_para-d57851005a80479aaeeb90a12c70b9f6 entry-content">In an email, the embassy in Islamabad sent out a link to video of ordinary Americans condemning the anti-Islam film, which appeared on YouTube. The State Department compiled the clips to give foreign audiences an idea of what regular Americans and their religious leaders thought of the video, Nuland said.</p><p class="ap_para ap_para-d57851005a80479aaeeb90a12c70b9f6 entry-content">Protests have tapered off in many countries, but in Pakistan on Thursday, more than 2,000 people tried to reach the U.S. Embassy inside a guarded enclave that houses embassies and government offices.</p><p class="ap_para ap_para-d57851005a80479aaeeb90a12c70b9f6 entry-content">Riot police used tear gas and batons to keep the stone-throwing demonstrators away from the enclave, and hundreds of shipping containers were lined up to cordon off the area. The government later called in army troops to protect the restricted areas when it appeared that police could not handle the situation.</p><p class="ap_para ap_para-d57851005a80479aaeeb90a12c70b9f6 entry-content">"It is our responsibility to protect all our diplomats, all the foreigners," said Pakistani Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira. He criticized protesters for resorting to violence and suggested that various religious and militant groups among the crowd were to blame.</p><p class="ap_para ap_para-d57851005a80479aaeeb90a12c70b9f6 entry-content">Most of the protesters appeared to be students affiliated with the Islamist hardline Jamaat-e-Islami party. Flags from other Islamist groups, Jamaat-u-Dawa and the al-Qaida linked militant group, Sipah-e-Sahaba, could be seen flying among the crowd. Demonstrators also rallied peacefully in the Pakistani cities of Lahore, Chaman, Karachi and Peshawar.</p><p class="ap_para ap_para-d57851005a80479aaeeb90a12c70b9f6 entry-content">The demonstrations are expected to grow on Friday, the traditional Muslim day of prayer. Their previous travel warning only reminded Americans of ongoing security concerns in the country.
